Emma is an Atlanta-based interior designer and founder of Commoner Design Co., a studio dedicated to creating meaningful connections between space and community.
With a diverse background in architecture, hospitality, commercial, and residential design, Emma has honed her ability to transform complex visions into livable, functional spaces.
Before launching Commoner Design Co. in 2021, she worked at a large commercial architecture firm, specializing in hospitality, office spaces, and interior build -outs, gaining invaluable experience in managing large-scale projects and honing her expertise across various design sectors.
She believes in the power of personal connections and conversational collaboration, always aiming to help clients make lasting investments in their communities.
When she's not immersed in design, you'll likely find her by the ocean, soaking in the calm and inspiration the water brings.
Emma lives in Adair park with her partner, Matthew, and their three dogs, finding inspiration in their vibrant neighborhood.
Sara Parrish
Studio Coordinator
With a passion for organization and a sharp eye for detail, Sara handles everything from ordering samples and purchasing materials to coordinating deliveries and overseeing the financial side of projects—managing the behind-the-scenes operations that keep the studio running smoothly. She is also a key player on installation days, helping bring design visions to life.
As a former music teacher and mother of two boys, Sara's love for spreadsheets, careful coordination, and problem-solving naturally led her to her role at Commoner Design Co.
